As many of you know, we produced a documentary film through the nonprofit PlantPure Communities called, From Food to Freedom. This film tells the story of a live-in immersion program in Greensboro, NC with six participants (joined by two spouses) suffering with type 2 diabetes. As we go through the immersion, we hear from participants about their past health struggles and watch as they suddenly change their diet from an animal-based, processed food diet to a whole food plant-based diet, which creates the opportunity for digressions into the topics of nutrition, chronic disease, immunity, and the Covid pandemic.
Earlier this year, we undertook a limited film release with Food Revolution Network. Over 100,000 people signed up to watch, most within seven days. In addition to this positive reception, the film has performed well at film festivals. We have won nine awards/honors in all, including awards for “Best Documentary Feature Film” and “Most Inspirational Film.”
Given this reception, we were excited this summer to publicly release the film to a larger audience but have run into an unexpected obstacle. Facebook is suppressing the promotion of our film, which we’ve undertaken using our film trailer (see below). A formal appeal was made, but Facebook refused to change their policy and is refusing further appeals. This is perplexing because nothing we say could possibly be framed as “misinformation.” What we do is tell a powerful story of healing that is critical of the pharmaceutical paradigm.
We aren’t giving up on our film release, however, and are working on a larger strategy I’ll share in coming issues. I thought I might jump right into this but have decided I’d like to first share a little more about our journey over the prior 10 years. I’ll do this in my next two or three letters, which I think will give you a better context for understanding what I share later.
In the meantime, feel free to watch and share with others (including group screenings) our film, From Food to Freedom, and its trailer using these links:

Thanks for the reference Tracy. I am not surprised by what you are suggesting. I have not studied Zuckerberg much over the years, but it's not surprising that he would think he could heal a human like you build software code.
Currently, anything against Big Pharma is flagged. Truly shocking time we live in. So much for "freedom", huh?
The silver lining is now my conspiracy theorist friends can't say the "bad guys" are promoting veganism (at least not the healthiest type).
